What is Markup Language?
Before knowing markup language, we must have to know what’s actually markup is? Markup is nothing is actually a data that’s includes in an electronics document. as we know in the field of computer’s technology Language is very significant tool to create a communication between machine and humans.
Markup language is nothing but just only a set of instructions, in standard form which is embeded with standard text, encoding system consisting a library of symbols. Markup languages is made for to create a user interaction with the browser or web browser. It works on tags to define element within its document. It contains standard keywords or syntax rather than typical programming syntax. Ex: – <head>, <body>, <div>, <table>, <form>, <image>, etc.
Mostly used markup language all over world.
- SGML :- it stands for Standard Generalized Markup Language.
- HTML :- it stands for Hyper Text Markup Language.
- XML :- it stands for Extensible Markup Language.
